Field Trip Health Ltd. (TSX: FTRP; FTRP.WT; Nasdaq: FTRP) (“Field Trip”), a pioneer in the development and delivery of psychedelic therapies, is pleased to announce the launch of “KAP Co-op,” a program that allows qualified independent psychedelic therapists to provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (and, in the future, other legal, psychedelic-assisted therapies) at its Field Field Trip is also excited to announce the start of training programs for psychotherapists and other certified mental health professionals and clinicians who want to learn more about KAP.
Independent therapists who have experience providing psychedelic-assisted therapies or who have completed approved training programs through providers such as MAPS, Fluence, The Ketamine Training Center, and the California Institute for Integral Studies (CIIS), among others, are eligible to become co-operative therapists with Field Trip (“Co-op Therapists”) under the KAP Co-op Program.
Co-op Therapists will have access to Field Trip’s world-class psychedelic therapy centers as well as other Field Trip resources to give KAP to their own private practice clients (“Co-op Clients”) if accepted.
Co-op Clients will be able to use Field Trip’s medical teams for ketamine screening, prescribing, and administration/dispensation while continuing to see their current therapist for all preparation and integration treatment.
For a limited time, the cost of a medical screening and ketamine administration/dispensation at a Field Trip Health center for Co-op Clients will be offered at an introductory price of $400. The cost of preparation and integration therapy will be determined directly between the Co-op Client and the Co-op Therapist as part of their ongoing therapeutic relationship in the therapist’s private practice.
Field Trip’s training workshops will consist of a combination of didactic and experiential training for delivering KAP over the course of a weekend (Friday – Sunday). Preparation for psychedelic therapy, approaches for leading a psychedelic experience, and integration of insights from a psychedelic experience will all be included in the training programs.
The inaugural session of Field Trip’s therapist training program will be held in Seattle, Washington on the weekend of October 8, 2021, and will cost $1,200 USD. Future sessions will be announced at a later date and will take place at one of Field Trip’s Field Trip Health center sites.
